C-Lab x 3 at the Limicon. (Equinox, The Bleeding Edge of Culture and Story Telling with Tracy Chipman)
Join us (details below)
It’s been a crazy month! Lots of exciting new things including Limicon. If you are not aware of Limicon yet, and would like to know more check it out here.
Tomorrow, at 9:30 am Sydney time zone ( 6:30 pm-8 pm EST) I’ll be co-hosting a session with Danielle Johnson called Liminal Listening During the Equinox. (details below)
One of the obvious (and easiest) ways to bring the cycles back into culture is to remember and celebrate the changing of seasons. In this global tribe we have now formed, Autumn and Spring Equinox meet. The Southern Hemisphere is moving towards the dark whilst the Northern Hemisphere is lighting up. Harvesting and planting coexist. Let’s meet in the Liminal Space between both.
Hosts: Danielle Johnson and Adriana Forte (with others)
Below is the “vibe of the call” as written by Danielle. This call won’t be recorded, so if you feel called to be with us to mark the Equinox, join us!
Limicon is centred around the liminal time of the Equinox. Join us as we feel into that liminal space, listen and share.
1. When listening, listen from the heart, without analyzing, agreeing or disagreeing;
2. When speaking, speak from the heart, naming what is alive right now; Silence is welcome;
3. Be lean of expression, going to the essence of what needs to be spoken;
4. Be spontaneous, trusting what comes, rather than what one has rehearsed or what one thinks should be said;
5. Confidentiality, with deep respect for people’s privacy and the transiency of the moment, participants are encouraged to not engage with other participants on things that came up, and not to share its specific content with others.
Vibe: Shamanic, Quiet, Embodied
(Session 2 - details below)
"The Bleeding Edge of Culture" - The Menstrual Cycle for Men (everyone invited!)
Host: Adriana Forte
Date: 22/03/2024 9:00 am Sydney time (21/03/2024 6 pm - 7:30 pm EST) * Attention it is ONE DAY EARLIER in the US and Europe!
Description: This is a session where men and the menstrual cycle will take the spotlight. This unlikely combination of topic and invitees will already make for an unexpected and thought-provoking gathering. The exploration will take place around this curious interface between cyclical body/minds (powered by waxing and waning hormones - females) and more linear body/minds ( powered by testosterone - males).
Category: Collective exploration that might have elements of presentation depending on the need/vibe.
Vibe of Session: irreverent, humorous, courageous, thought-provoking, hopefully also fun and relaxed with doses of depth.
Specifications:
-Process:
-Spectators Welcome?: yes
-Cameras On or Off?: on for the men that actively participate(women can come and watch and maybe reflect at some point)
-Recorded?: yes (bits can be edited out if we feel it's important)
-Kid Friendly?: (if someone brings kids maybe just watch :-)) totally fine then.

THE ANCIENT CYCLE STORY OF RUPTURE & REGENERATION - With Story Teller Tracy Chipman
29th of March 9 am Sydney time (28th of March 6-7:30 pm EST)
It is one of the big visions of C-Lab to highlight and make visible important work in the world that our culture often disregards. It is my honour to co-host (but even more accurately - hold space for) this session with Tracy. In my experience, Tracy is one of these precious gems that we find along the way and listening to her wisdom feels not only important but necessary. She will take us all on a journey through the art of storytelling. Come if you feel called!
Her words below:
In the place before time and ever since there has been this cycle – the rupture of glaciers, mountains, of squash blossoms, of eggshells, of life. And from that severance comes regeneration, birthings, and beginnings.
Please join cultural architect and founder of CLab, Adriana Forte Naili and storyteller, author Tracy Chipman for this emergent exploration through the old and new language of storytelling and soul-deep inquiry – both personal & transpersonal.
Tracy Chipman weaves the ancient rivers of oral storytelling, writing and somatic practices creating unforgettable experiences inviting us towards more embodied creative experiences, self-knowledge & wholeness. She is a Wisconsin native occupying the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe peoples. In March 2023 Tracy published her first book, Borealis Mundi - Resting in Place, Loss & Grace.
