Hello from my Garden

This is me. Barefoot, walking on the land as I often do between one zoom call and another.

I wanted to share some videos and images from my home as it is here that all that I do is sourced from.

C-Lab is rooted - literally - in this Gumbaynggirr country. It is fed by river swims, gentle breezes and countless hours of weeding around trees.

Living in a block of land is not “idyllic”, as some might imagine. It is real.

My modern-day woman’s body is constantly learning from the land. From its rhythms, its wildness, its untamed temperament. At times, I feel unequipped, like I need to learn a whole new language, something I should just know in my bones but can’t access.

But the land has time. It holds me with patience.

C-Lab, to me, stands for this collective re-membering of our roots.

In this spirit, I’m excited to share with you my next project: Embodying the Matriarch at the Age of The Machine—an online Experience.

I had the pleasure of hosting eight amazing women on my property for an in-person journey last year. It was beautiful, profound, joyous and catalytic.

Embodying the Matriarch was such a powerful weekend. Adriana with her intuitive wisdom and visionary approach, created a welcoming, safe and supportive space where we could explore the transition into the matriarchal stage of life. Her ability to weave her deep knowledge and unique perspective into the experience contributed to the magic of the weekend.

Over the weekend I gained a deeper understanding of myself and was able to identify my source of weariness. This helped me to view my life from a new perspective and feel more connected to my own strength. Working alongside other women was inspiring, and it gave me a sense of collective purpose and support. I left feeling empowered, clear, and ready to step into this next phase with confidence. “

Even though my first choice would be to have you here, on the land with me, so we could swim in the river and cook a meal together as we redefine our role as “Matriarchs at the Age of the Machine”, I know this is not always possible.

So, for the ones of you who live on the other side of the planet or the country, I have created an intimate online group container where we’ll participate in a collective reimagining of this vital role.
