Yeah... I ended up doing weekly audio updates which then turned into video updates. I felt the pressure to produce regular writing for a brief period when I started my substack... But I know that it's something that many on this platform feel intensely ...I guess especially so if one defines/describes oneself as a 'writer'. Fortunately that's not a burden I feel. I still like to produce longer well thought out pieces of writing... But at best I'll do one of those a year coz they take a really long time to write. Otherwise I'm all about video/audio.
i feel you... why don't you share pieces of your book here? or as every chapter gets ready, you release some of it here?? something like that?
for me, substack is like journaling... and I do it in the "paid" format also because I don't want to overwhelm people. only those who really want to read will receive my stuff... i have 2 r 3 paid subscribers and I love it.
Maybe there is a hope token, put in the slot machine without glass.
We can just reach in and decide that the fortune cookie label is a memetic inference as we continue on looking for clues in the collective rubble.
